The 46th Annual ESDR Meeting will be held at the Technical University campus in Garching, a short distance from the centre of Munich. The meeting has its own website at http://www.esdr2016.org
We are pleased to announce that all major lectures have been confirmed. The ESDR's most prestigious lecture (Rudi Cormane Lecture) will be given by Carien Niessen (Germany), speaking on the essential tools required for building and maintaining the skin barrier. We are also delighted to annouce talks from Gonçalo Abecasis (USA) on mapping the genetic architecture of common complex disease, as well as Brigitta Stockinger (UK) on dysregulated immune responses and autoimmunity. Angela Christiano (USA) will discuss genetics, immunology and targeted therapies in Alopecia Areata.
ESDR is pleased to announce that a 1-year fellowship has been awarded to ESDR and Future Leaders Alumni member Lise Boussemart MD, PhD. Lise is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rennes in France and her research interests include pathogenesis and treatment of melanoma, cutaneous side effects of targeted therapies and immunotherapy.
The Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID) is the official journal of the ESDR and SID. JID publishes papers describing original research on all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease. All ESDR members receive a print copy of the JID as well as access through this website.
