In 2017, with co-sponsorship of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID) and the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS), two (2) one year fellowships will be awarded to fully trained female dermatologists who aspire to research careers, one in the U.S. and one in Europe.

All ESDR Members are invited to attend the 2016 Annual General Meeting of Members (AGM) which will be held on Friday 9 September 2016 in Munich. Several important items will be tabled for approval by the membership. For more information, please find the agenda here.
We are pleased to announce that all major lectures have been confirmed. The ESDR's most prestigious lecture (Rudi Cormane Lecture) will be given by Carien Niessen (Germany), speaking on the essential tools required for building and maintaining the skin barrier. We are also delighted to annouce talks from Gonçalo Abecasis (USA) on mapping the genetic architecture of common complex disease, as well as Brigitta Stockinger (UK) on dysregulated immune responses and autoimmunity. Angela Christiano (USA) will discuss genetics, immunology and targeted therapies in Alopecia Areata.
The Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID) is the official journal of the ESDR and SID. JID publishes papers describing original research on all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease. All ESDR members receive a print copy of the JID as well as access through this website.
