The main mission of the ESDR is to foster basic research in dermatology and skin biology. To increase the exchange between basic scientists and clinicians at the annual meeting, the ESDR has included a “Clinical Saturday” as part of the regular program. By offering Clinical Saturday and industry sponsored symposia, the ESDR hopes to make the meeting as attractive for clinicians as it always has been for basic scientists. The ESDR feels committed to satisfying the needs and interests of both scientists and clinicians. The dialogue and cross fertilization between these two groups is essential for the future prosperous development of dermatology.

Clinical Saturday 2007 is run in association with the European Academy for Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).
